Senior Data Engineer (Fintech)

TL;DR

Senior Data Engineer (Fintech): Building and maintaining data replication solutions, data architecture, and data pipelines with an accent on data collection and quality. Focus on troubleshooting, innovating, and acting as a subject matter expert for IT and business stakeholders.

Location: Hybrid from Gdańsk/Warsaw (at least 3 days per week from the office and at least once a month to meet in Gdańsk to attend team workshops for 2-3 days)

Salary: 1200 - 1400 PLN/day on B2B

What you will do

• Design and build a stable, scalable, near real-time, and reliable BMC Helix data replication solution.
• Build, design, and maintain data architecture ensuring complete collection and quality of data.
• Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines.
• Troubleshoot and innovate data solutions.
• Work within a SAFe Scrum Team with aligned autonomy.
• Act as a subject matter expert and make recommendations to IT and business stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven work experience with a minimum of 5+ years in a similar role.
• 3+ years of experience in IT Service Management data integrations (BMC Helix preferred).
• Experience with Data Warehousing, data storage, data security, code version controlling, and ETL (SSIS, Snowflake).
• Professional experience in SQL (T-SQL preferred), Python, and Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency in CI/CD (Bamboo/Jenkins).
• Fluency in English (C1 level at least)

Nice to have

• ITIL Foundation certification or proven work experience in IT Service Management.
