What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day technical execution of a data migration stream from AWS to GCP.
• Coordinate implementation across internal delivery teams, client stakeholders, and vendor professional services.
• Perform hands-on development, troubleshooting, code review, and validation of data pipelines.
• Guide engineers, clarify technical approaches, and ensure overall implementation quality.
• Collaborate with Architects and DevOps on design decisions, CI/CD, and Terraform infrastructure setup.
• Track technical risks, blockers, and dependencies to ensure stable migration and post-cutover stabilization.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with GCP (Cloud Composer, Dataflow, GCS, Pub/Sub, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions).
• Deep practical expertise in Apache Airflow: DAG development, orchestration, and migration to Cloud Composer.
• Solid experience with relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server) and SQL performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of AWS services (S3, MWAA, Lambda, Firehose) to translate AWS solutions into GCP.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Bash for automation and data processing.
• English: Upper-Intermediate to Advanced level required for effective technical communication.

Nice to have

• Exposure to Databricks and Snowflake for analytics, data modeling, and pipeline integration.
