What you will do

• Architect and develop scalable backend services within distributed systems.
• Own and deliver critical non-functional requirements, including scalability, availability, performance, and security.
• Author and maintain comprehensive unit, integration, and functional tests to ensure reliability.
• Produce technical documentation for internal knowledge sharing and external collaboration.
• Decompose complex projects into actionable tasks and drive them to completion.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of professional software engineering experience with substantial expertise in Golang.
• Strong programming fundamentals, problem-solving ability, and system design skills.
• Deep understanding of concurrency, multi-threading, and distributed computing concepts.
• Experience building microservices architectures and developing RESTful APIs.
• Excellent analytical skills for visualizing and simplifying complex systems.
• Must have permanent right to work in the UK.

Nice to have

• Experience with high-throughput, low-latency systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, big data analytics, or machine learning services.
