Technical Project Manager (IT)

Technical Project Manager (IT): Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects for the government sector with an accent on Agile delivery, scope/schedule decomposition, and compliance-driven execution. What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of IT projects (planning, design, programming, testing, and implementation) and establish priorities across project needs and resources.
• Design project plans with scope, milestones, tasks, budget, and personnel to meet contractual obligations.
• Run projects using Agile methodologies (initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and close).
• Define scope and schedules by breaking large efforts into manageable sequences to accelerate delivery.
• Coordinate and lead execution with internal teams, client project teams, and external service providers.
• Ensure projects are delivered successfully, with high quality and on-budget completion.

Requirements

• Security clearance: Required to have and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) security clearance (Tier 4/6c).
• Certifications: PMI PMP or PgMP certification.
• 7+ years of experience supporting Information Technology as a Project Manager.
• Strong technical understanding of IT, including Identity and Access Management and AWS GovCloud systems and services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including presenting to senior government officials.
• Required education: HS Diploma/GED.
