What you will do

• Architect and develop enterprise-scale Ignition 8.x SCADA solutions, including Perspective and Vision applications.
• Develop complex Named Queries and database schemas for SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Build reusable component libraries and custom scripting modules using Python/Jython.
• Lead technical discussions on architecture, cybersecurity standards (ISA/IEC 62443), and IT/OT network design.
• Perform on-site commissioning, FAT/SAT protocols, and deliver training to client teams.
• Troubleshoot production issues and implement high availability/disaster recovery strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Ignition SCADA systems (Vision and/or Perspective).
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Java.
• Must be based in or able to work on-site in Comstock Park, MI.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% (domestic and international).
• Experience with project management tools like MS Project and Jira.
