What you will do

• Lead and mentor a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership and excellence.
• Design and maintain mission-critical frameworks using Java and Spring Boot.
• Define and enforce technical standards for code quality, system performance, and security.
• Own the reliability and scalability of asynchronous communication using Kafka or SQS.
• Tackle challenges in high availability and performance across PostgreSQL, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Redis.
• Bridge the gap between DevOps and Product teams to align infrastructure with business needs.

Requirements

• 8+ years of hands-on technical experience with at least 2+ years leading engineering teams.
• Deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot for large-scale server-side applications.
• Proficiency with AWS services and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, Redis, MongoDB, SQS, or Kafka.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Location: Must be based in Tel Aviv for a hybrid work model
