What you will do

• Lead initiatives to deliver state-of-the-art closed and open-world detection capabilities.
• Improve and expand detection models, architectures, and data pipelines.
• Develop robust software for real-time, safety-critical onboard vehicle deployment.
• Drive cross-functional workstreams from problem definition to final delivery.
• Contribute to the technical direction of the perception organization and build consensus on challenging topics.

Requirements

• Must be a U.S. person or citizen due to national security and export control regulations.
• Extensive experience architecting, training, and deploying deep learning models in real-world environments.
• Proven track record of driving applied research projects from conception to productization.
• Experience delivering detection, segmentation, or tracking solutions for real-time robotic applications.
• Fluency in Python and strong experience with C++.
