Research Engineer II (Computer Vision): Developing and transitioning 3D computer vision and machine learning technologies into scalable products with an accent on 3D reconstruction, neural rendering, and point cloud processing. Location: Must be based in the United States (Remote)
Salary: $90,000–$115,000

What you will do
- Design and implement new features for 3D computer vision and machine learning systems.
- Develop algorithms for 3D reconstruction, optimization, and rendering using NeRFs and Gaussian Splatting.
- Conduct experiments to improve model performance, scalability, and accuracy.
- Assist in deploying models and pipelines on AWS for distributed training.
- Stay updated with the latest research in neural rendering and computer vision.
Requirements
- Must be based in the United States
- BSc/MSc/PhD in Computer Vision, Computer Science, or related fields.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision principles.
- Proficiency in Python and PyTorch with experience implementing complex neural networks.
- Experience training and deploying models on AWS or other cloud platforms.
Nice to have
- Experience with NeRFs, 3DGS, or similar neural rendering technologies.
- Familiarity with Multi-View Geometry, SfM, and SLAM.
- Experience working with aerial/satellite imagery or photogrammetry.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
