TL;DR

Software Engineer (AI/C++): Designing and implementing the TT-Fabric networking layer for distributed AI compute clusters with an accent on low-level communication and hardware-software interaction. Focus on optimizing data movement, synchronization strategies, and extracting maximum performance from RISC-V and AI processors.

Location: Hybrid based out of Santa Clara (CA), Austin (TX), or Toronto (ON)

Salary: $100k - $500k (including base and variable compensation)

What you will do

• Architect and maintain TT-Fabric, the low-level networking library powering distributed inference and training.
• Design scalable communication systems to coordinate thousands of AI processors efficiently.
• Optimize protocols, synchronization strategies, and data movement to extract maximum hardware performance.
• Integrate TT-Fabric APIs into the broader programming model in collaboration with AI and hardware teams.
• Help define the long-term architecture of the distributed systems stack.

Requirements

• Deep experience with C or C++ and comfort working in low-level or bare-metal environments.
• Strong systems engineering skills with a focus on performance tuning and eliminating protocol inefficiencies.
• Knowledge of networking, synchronization, and communication across large clusters.
• Ability to reason from first principles and challenge industry conventions.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (compliance with EAR regulations).
