What you will do

• Support the preparation of management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of month-end reporting.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights on significant variances to budget or forecast.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and financial accuracy.
• Identify and implement process improvements within accounting systems and reporting workflows.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives and cross-functional business projects.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to commute to the Leeds office (3 days per week).
• Currently pursuing or recently started a financial qualification such as ACCA or CIMA.
• Previous experience in a management accounting role with exposure to month-end processes and financial reporting.
• Intermediate Excel skills with a desire to develop advanced analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication skills to effectively explain financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
