TL;DR

DeFi Business Development Representative (Web3): Securing and managing partnerships with DeFi protocols, DAOs, and TVL allocators with an accent on outbound strategies and full-cycle sales management. Focus on expanding product impact, optimizing market positioning within targeted verticals, and closing high-impact DeFi integrations.

Location: Must be based in the contiguous United States or Canada

Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 base plus OTE and equity

What you will do

  • Execute aggressive outbound partnership strategies for existing and new products.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation and proposal drafting to closing.
  • Meet quarterly sales revenue and TVL KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Data Science, and Finance teams to refine market positioning.
  • Nurture relationships with key stakeholders across the DeFi ecosystem.
  • Travel to industry conferences to represent the company.

Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of Crypto/DeFi native business development or partnerships experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in structuring, negotiating, and closing partnerships.
  • Technical or mathematical background to effectively communicate complex topics to non-technical audiences.
  • Deep understanding of DeFi primitives, such as lending, perpetuals, and restaking.
  • Must be able to work within the contiguous United States or Canada.
  • Ability to operate autonomously across multiple time zones.

Nice to have

  • Existing crypto-native professional network.
  • Direct experience running or working with a DeFi protocol.
  • Previous experience in an elected DAO role or at a Foundation.
  • Strong "closer" mindset with a track record of winning difficult deals.
