What you will do

  • Provide subject matter expertise on reporting capabilities related to prior authorizations.
  • Translate customer reporting requirements into technical specifications.
  • Develop analytics and reports to support the prior authorization team.
  • Resolve critical reporting issues and communicate solutions clearly to stakeholders.
  • Perform testing on new platform functionality to ensure accurate claims processing.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person product demonstrations for clients.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in New York, NY
  • 2+ years of proven experience in data analytics and reporting.
  • 2+ years of professional experience with SQL.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Economics, or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to travel 5-10%.

Nice to have

  • Experience with ETL or ELT processes.
  • Background in PBM, pharmacy, or health plan domains.
  • Experience working with JSON or other data-exchange formats.
  • Programming experience in Python or R.
  • Experience presenting analysis to management or external clients.
