What you will do

• Manage a team of data scientists to define and extract AV performance metrics for software validation.
• Build and maintain self-service platforms for querying key metrics and analyzing massive datasets.
• Analyze large-scale drive logs and simulation datasets to identify patterns, regressions, and system gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering leaders to translate complex statistical findings into concrete action items.

Requirements

• B.S, M.S. or Ph.D. in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Math, or a related quantitative field.
• 5+ years of industry experience leading or deploying data analysis systems in robotics or autonomous vehicles.
• 2+ years of development experience with Python, large-scale data processing, and metric design.
• Proficiency in SQL, Pandas, NumPy, and Spark.
• Demonstrated ability to identify regressions in high-dimensional or time-series sensor data.
• Must be based in the USA.
