What you will do

• Conduct structured developer listening tours and map current workflows across the entire SDLC.
• Identify and visualize friction points and bottlenecks affecting productivity and delivery speed.
• Translate qualitative developer feedback into structured backlog items for engineering teams.
• Establish baseline developer experience metrics and track improvements over time.
• Utilize AI-assisted tools to analyze interview transcripts and extract insights at scale.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, and AI transformation teams to prioritize improvements.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Developer Experience, DevRel, or Engineering Management.
• Prior experience writing production code in Python, TypeScript, Go, or similar languages.
• Expertise in qualitative research, interview design, and insight synthesis for engineering teams.
• Professional fluency in English and native or advanced Portuguese or Spanish.
• Must be based in the LATAM region.
• Proficiency with project management platforms (Jira, Linear) and documentation tools (Notion, Confluence, Miro).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with developer productivity frameworks or metrics such as DORA.
• Exposure to AI transformation initiatives or developer productivity tooling.
• Experience working with distributed international teams in SaaS or platform engineering.
• Knowledge of GitHub, CI/CD systems, and code review platforms.
• Experience designing and running developer sentiment programs or surveys.
