TL;DR
Staff Engineer, Software Release and Packaging (RISC-V): Building, packaging, and releasing software for RISC-V and system IP products with an accent on Linux system creation and automation. Focus on developing automated delivery processes using Yocto/Buildroot and CI/CD pipelines to enable customer success.
Location: Remote or hybrid in North America (USA, Canada) or Australia
Compensation: $100k - $500k (including base and variable targets)

What you will do
- Build, package, and release software enabling customers to succeed with RISC-V and system IP products.
- Combine Linux and open-source software packages with proprietary software to accelerate IP adoption.
- Create and improve automated processes to deliver high-quality products.
- Collaborate across team and technology boundaries to unify software models and platforms.
Requirements
- Background in Linux and open-source development.
- Experience with Linux system creation tools such as Yocto or Buildroot, or distribution packaging.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD systems and software build tools.
- Proficiency with scripting languages, specifically Python and Bash, for automation.
- Experience with Git, release management, and branching methodologies.
- Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (contingent upon citizenship/residency or license approval).
