TL;DR

Silicon Validation Engineer (AI): Developing and validating die-to-die chiplet PHY IP solutions for AI computing with an accent on analog/mixed-signal design and silicon characterization. Focus on performing complex debugs, developing test automation, and ensuring the performance of high-speed I/O.

What you will do

• Perform validation and qualification of D2D silicon designs using specialized lab equipment.
• Develop and evolve test software specifically for silicon validation processes.
• Collaborate closely with the design team to debug and resolve issues discovered during validation.
• Execute critical tests including Tx output jitter measurements and Receiver JTOL.

Requirements

• BS or MS in Electrical Engineering (MSEE preferred).
• 10+ years of hands-on electrical test and characterization of silicon chips/chiplets in a lab environment.
• Proficiency with Keysight and Tektronix equipment, oscilloscopes, and BERTS.
• Experience developing test automation in Python, Perl, or Labview.
• Strong knowledge of datacomm circuits such as amplifiers, PLLs, and Equalizers.
• Must be eligible to access U.S. export-controlled technology (EAR compliance).

Nice to have

• Experience characterizing high-speed I/O and PHYs for DDR, Ethernet, PCIe, USB, or D2D.
• Knowledge of Verilog, VHDL, or other hardware descriptive languages.
• Familiarity with industry-standard signal and power integrity tools.
• Experience generating and maintaining IBIS models for D2D products.
