TL;DR

Location: Remote (Must be based in the United States)
Salary: $160,000 - $195,000 USD

What you will do
- Build, manage, and mentor a team of 5-7+ engineers working on shared platform capabilities.
- Partner with Engineering and Product teams to define the team’s mission, vision, and roadmap.
- Provide strategic oversight and architectural direction for UI workflows, code refactoring, and the transition to microservices.
- Translate cross-functional needs into clear technical plans and priorities for the team.
- Ensure the delivery of quality, scalable, and well-tested code on time and in scope.
- Conduct code reviews and dive into the existing codebase as needed.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience directly managing teams of developers (5-7+ people).
- Core technical knowledge of Java, Spring, AWS (EC2, ECS), MongoDB, and Postgres.
- Experience with Python and C#/.NET to drive automation and micro-service efforts.
- Strong foundational understanding of computer science principles and SDLC best practices.
- Experience with architecture, scalability, and reliability for consumable APIs.

- Experience building client-facing APIs and supporting external developer integration.
- Experience improving internal tools and backing services for operational teams.
- Familiarity with test automation.
- Experience modernizing legacy implementations in close partnership with Product owners.
