Compensation: $170,000 - $180,000

What you will do

• Design and build scalable platform services, web, and mobile applications.
• Develop AI-powered workflows and implement event-driven patterns.
• Lead greenfield architectural decisions regarding technology selection and infrastructure strategy.
• Implement strong security practices across application, network, and infrastructure layers (OWASP, DAST, SCA, SAST).
• Collaborate with product teams to refine MVP scope and measure ROI.
• Improve SDLC processes, including CI/CD pipelines, performance benchmarks, and testing practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a similar field.
• 6+ years of experience building scalable systems across web, mobile, or backend.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Proficiency in cloud architecture, networking, observability, and deployment strategies.
• Deep understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of secure coding practices and infrastructure security.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated healthcare environments (HIPAA, PHI, EHR integrations).
• Experience in high-growth startup environments with high ownership.
• Experience integrating AI/ML features like prediction models or retrieval-augmented systems (RAG).
