What you will do

• Monitor storage arrays and SAN fabrics and respond to alerts proactively.
• Provision LUNs and file shares (SAN/NAS) and present them to hosts.
• Manage zoning, masking configurations, and support capacity planning and growth forecasting.
• Perform firmware upgrades, hardware replacements, and assist with data migrations.
• Troubleshoot performance issues such as latency, contention, and queue depth.
• Maintain accurate documentation, runbooks, and produce weekly KPIs.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with SAN/NAS platforms (e.g., HPE, Dell EMC, NetApp).
• Knowledge of SAN fabrics, specifically Cisco or Brocade.
• Experience with LUN, NFS, SMB provisioning and multipathing.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in storage performance.
• Basic understanding of virtualization platforms, such as VMware.
• Strong discipline in documentation and change management.
