TL;DR
Senior Production DBA (Fintech): Managing high-load Oracle and PostgreSQL databases for a large-scale Tax Management System deployed across multiple countries with an accent on reliability, performance, and security. Focus on optimizing queries and indexing, troubleshooting incidents, automating operations with IaC, and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
Location: All locations, opportunity for remote work, relocation opportunities or options to work from ’s offices in other countries.

What you will do
- Manage and maintain Oracle and PostgreSQL databases in production and staging environments.
- Configure replication, backup/recovery, and high availability setups.
- Monitor and optimize database performance, queries, and indexing.
- Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
- Automate database operations using scripts and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Support CI/CD pipelines with GitLab for database and Java application deployments.
- Collaborate with development teams on DB integrations, migrations, and best practices.
Requirements
- Good communication skills in English (B1+).
- 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience in production (certification required).
- 3+ years of PostgreSQL administration in production.
- Strong expertise in performance tuning, replication, and database internals.
- Experience with backup/recovery and high availability solutions.
- Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting; hands-on with GitLab CI/CD.
- Understanding of Java (Spring Boot, JPA/Hibernate) and DB integration; Docker experience.
