What you will do

• Develop application and system roadmaps for transformation and modernization.
• Design flexible, modular, and reusable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture standards.
• Prepare business cases and operational models for technical initiatives to secure funding and prioritization.
• Govern solution architecture processes and enforce technology standards and design patterns.
• Lead Agile and DevSecOps practices in collaboration with product delivery and operation support teams.
• Review high-level designs, code, and performance tests to ensure application efficiency.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience with 6+ years specifically in architecture.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud technologies and integration architectures (Service Bus, API mediation, event bus).
• Proven expertise in designing ERP, policy administration systems, and customer/agent portals.
• Strong knowledge of the system development life cycle (SDLC) and Scaled Agile methodology.
• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
• Must be based in or able to work from Manchester for 2-3 days per week.

Nice to have

• TOGAF certification.
• Experience with custom-built and CoTS/MoTS applications hosted in cloud or on-prem.
