Data Analyst (Marketing)

TL;DR

Data Analyst (Marketing): Driving insights into marketing performance, customer acquisition and engagement with an accent on experimentation and causal impact. Focus on optimizing marketing campaigns, budget allocation, and building KPI dashboards to enable data-driven decision making.

Location: Hybrid (London, UK). Must work from the office a minimum of 60% of the time over a 12-week period.

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000

What you will do

• Drive ideation and optimization of marketing campaigns through deep dives into customer behavior and channel performance.
• Influence marketing strategy and budget allocation via opportunity sizing and performance analysis.
• Ensure accurate data tracking to understand campaign performance and customer journeys across various channels.
• Support marketing experiments and A/B tests to understand causal impact and inform future campaigns.
• Develop and maintain dashboards to track key marketing KPIs and north star metrics.

Requirements

• 2+ years of proven experience using analytics to drive business decisions.
• Experience in marketing analytics, specifically in Performance Marketing, Brand Marketing, or CRM.
• Strong understanding of experimentation (A/B testing, incrementality testing) and marketing effectiveness evaluation.
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Spotfire.
• Ability to communicate complex analytical results clearly to senior management.
• Must be based in or able to commute to the London office for 60% of work time.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python for predictive modelling, regression, clustering, or random forest.
• Proficiency in R.
• Experience with AWS Athena.
