Java Developer (Gamedev)

Location: Hybrid (3 days/week), Bucharest (Timpuri Noi), Romania

What you will do

• Design and develop server-side features and new microservices.
• Implement and update logic in transversal microservices.
• Develop asynchronous communication channels.
• Create and maintain unit, integration, and contract tests.
• Write and manage comprehensive API documentation.
• Troubleshoot system issues and integrate new cloud technologies.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in backend development.
• Proficiency with Java 11/17.
• Strong knowledge of design patterns and distributed systems.
• Expertise in Spring (IOC, MVC, AOP, Data), Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud.
• Experience with Netflix Stack (Hystrix, Ribbon).
• Strong English written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Kafka.
• Knowledge of multi-threading and asynchronous programming.
• Experience working with NoSQL databases.
• Background in AGILE environments.
• Familiarity with all aspects of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
