What you will do

• Oversee the full server lifecycle, from landing and provisioning to maintenance, in a data center environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues on servers, storage, and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Manage server builds, including provisioning via PXE boot and other automated deployment technologies.
• Conduct OS patching, upgrades, and configuration changes to maintain system security and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimize server performance, capacity planning, and hardware utilization.
• Support backup, data integrity, and disaster recovery processes in line with best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, with a strong emphasis on server/client hardware and its lifecycle management.
• Strong expertise in server hardware, storage infrastructure, and OS troubleshooting (Linux, Windows).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell) for automation of server management tasks.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals with respect to software-defined networks like ACI.
• Familiarity with security compliance standards and best practices for data center management, including the server hardware and operating system lifecycle.
