What you will do

• Perform precision assembly on complex production and repair actuators.
• Adjust or align through shimming and other means of mechanical adjustments specified by blueprint or other specification limits.
• Utilize mechanical measuring equipment to obtain proper assembly-build requirements.
• Perform various test operations on production or repair mechanical or hydraulic actuators.
• Diagnose common test failures and recommends or performs rework to correct discrepancies.
• Order parts as necessary and responsible for proper documentation of parts replaced and work performed on data sheets.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum 3 years or more of Assembly experience (mechanical, hydraulic, electromechanical or electronic).
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Assembly experience in the Aerospace industry.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment such as dial indicators, calipers and micrometers.
• Possess or be able to obtain Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certification.
• Experience performing precision assembly and test of hydraulic, mechanical and electromechanical flight actuators.
• Experience with diagnosing/troubleshooting mechanical components and test failures.
• Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook).
