Senior Business Travel Consultant (Galileo GDS): Managing travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently, providing first-class service to business travelers with an accent on Galileo GDS system expertise. Focus on independently handling client inquiries, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring service level agreements are met.

Location: Role will be fully remote however you will be required to come into the Birmingham Hub for training and special events. Must be based within commuting distance of the Birmingham hub.

What you will do

• Manage travel bookings, amendments, and cancellations efficiently, providing first-class service to business travelers.
• Arrange European and domestic travel, including flights, car rentals, and hotels.
• Communicate with clients via live chat, telephone, and email, ensuring all interactions are professional and accurate.
• Proactively maintain and develop client relationships, offering support throughout the entire travel process.
• Maintain the Galileo GDS queues and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

• Proficient in air fares and ticketing.
• Expert knowledge of the Galileo GDS system, including reissuing tickets autonomously.
• Great communication skills and fluency in English, both written and spoken.
• Previous experience as a Business Travel Consultant.
• Well-organized and capable of working to tight deadlines under pressure.
• Must be based within commuting distance of the Birmingham hub.
