TL;DR

Senior Backend Developer (Node.js): Building and maintaining scalable backend and cloud solutions for IoT projects with an accent on AWS infrastructure and distributed systems. Focus on designing high-performance backend services and ensuring system reliability through effective cloud management and messaging protocols.

Location: Remote (Global), with core hours between 10:00 and 18:00 CET and occasional meetings up to 20:00 CET.

Salary: 15,000–25,000 PLN net/month (B2B)

A specialized design and development partner with over 10 years of experience building applications for IoT and connected devices, including wearables and audio systems.

What you will do

  • Build and maintain scalable backend and cloud solutions for IoT projects.
  • Optimize AWS infrastructure and cloud deployments using Terraform.
  • Develop high-performance and secure backend services with Node.js.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product.
  • Improve system reliability by resolving issues reported by the QA team.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

  • English proficiency (B2 minimum).
  • Strong experience with AWS services (EKS, S3, Aurora, DynamoDB, Timestream, EMR).
  • Extensive experience with Node.js and backend development.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure management using Kubernetes, Docker, and Terraform.
  • Hands-on experience with MQTT messaging protocols.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.
