What you will do

• Lead end-to-end SOX compliance and internal audit projects, including scoping and risk assessments.
• Oversee the design, testing, documentation, and remediation of financial reporting controls.
• Collaborate with Finance, IT, Legal, and Sales departments to ensure control effectiveness and provide training.
• Liaise with external auditors to coordinate testing and address identified deficiencies.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive SOX documentation, including narratives and risk and control matrices.
• Deliver performance reports and presentations to Finance leadership and the Audit Committee.

Requirements

• 15 - 20 years of internal audit experience, preferably in a Big 4 firm or public company environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Information Systems.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CA, CIA, CFE, or CISA is required.
• Deep understanding of COSO frameworks, GAAP, and risk-based auditing.
• Proven ability to integrate IT system knowledge into SOX assessments.
• Strong project management, communication, and analytical skills.
