What you will do
- Lead a cross-functional team of developers to drive key initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
- Balance hands-on technical contributions with leadership responsibilities, including coaching and performance feedback.
- Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
- Optimize application performance by implementing caching strategies and monitoring tools.
- Champion best practices, including dependency injection, unit testing, and generative AI tools.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to align development efforts with strategic goals.
Requirements
- Location: Must be based in the USA
- 7+ years of technical experience in Java development, with 3+ years in a team leadership or technical management role.
- Strong proficiency in Spring 6, Spring Boot, WebFlux, and microservices architecture.
- Deep knowledge of Java 8, 17, and 21.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and database technologies (MySQL, Redis).
- Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, SOC 2).
Nice to have
- Prior experience in the healthcare technology domain.
- Advanced experience with cloud security protocols.
