What you will do

  • Lead a cross-functional team of developers to drive key initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
  • Balance hands-on technical contributions with leadership responsibilities, including coaching and performance feedback.
  • Architect and design scalable, maintainable, and high-performance applications.
  • Optimize application performance by implementing caching strategies and monitoring tools.
  • Champion best practices, including dependency injection, unit testing, and generative AI tools.
  • Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams to align development efforts with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Location: Must be based in the USA
  • 7+ years of technical experience in Java development, with 3+ years in a team leadership or technical management role.
  • Strong proficiency in Spring 6, Spring Boot, WebFlux, and microservices architecture.
  • Deep knowledge of Java 8, 17, and 21.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and database technologies (MySQL, Redis).
  • Understanding of healthcare regulatory standards (HIPAA, SOC 2).

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in the healthcare technology domain.
  • Advanced experience with cloud security protocols.
