What you will do

• Hire, coach, and develop cloud/SRE engineers through 1:1s and active performance management.
• Champion AI adoption by encouraging AI-assisted workflows to raise team productivity.
• Own delivery outcomes against OKRs, managing deployment pipelines, production readiness, and incident management.
• Partner with Technical Leadership and Architecture to align infrastructure with the overall technology strategy.
• Support AI/ML platform requirements, including agent observability and AI workload infrastructure.
• Coordinate priorities across Product Engineering, AI Engineering, Security, Data, and Architecture teams.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams, focusing on hiring, coaching, and career development.
• Strong technical background in cloud infrastructure and architectural decision-making.
• Experience with a major cloud provider (GCP preferred, AWS or Azure transferable).
• Proficiency with Kubernetes in production, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Active user of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Copilot, or Cursor.
• Exposure to AI/ML supporting infrastructure, including model serving or ML pipeline operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with platform consolidation, multi-cloud environments, or infrastructure migrations.
• Deep SRE knowledge: SLOs, incident management, and observability.
• Experience with GitOps (ArgoCD/Kargo) or service mesh.
• Cloud cost optimization and scaling AI/ML workloads (GPU scheduling, vector databases).
