What you will do

• Envision and build new components for distributed filesystems to provide scale and efficiency.
• Design and develop high-quality, production-ready code for a multi-tenant SaaS cloud environment.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on business roadmaps.
• Resolve complex technical issues related to system scalability and availability.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure services remain operational.

Requirements

• 12+ years of software development experience with mastery in systems design.
• Deep knowledge of designing distributed filesystems in both on-prem and cloud environments.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Python, alongside advanced SQL skills.
• Experience developing SaaS products on public cloud infrastructure like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Solid understanding of queues, locks, scheduling, and event-driven architecture.
• Demonstrated leadership skills and experience with software development best practices.

Nice to have

• Experience with Big Data, Machine Learning, and S3.
• Hands-on experience with streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Proficiency with Elastic Search, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Background in working within high-paced, multinational organizations.
