Senior-Staff RF Test Engineer (Robotics)

Salary: $145,000 - $205,000

What you will do

• Lead design validation and test planning for RF products, covering both design validation and manufacturing tests.
• Act as a subject matter expert on component behavior across diverse environmental and system conditions.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams and external vendors to deploy high-quality test systems and plans.
• Manage end-to-end test campaigns from development through certification and production.
• Perform root-cause analysis of field failures using data analysis and targeted test campaigns.
• Support certification testing to ensure aircraft compliance for real-world operations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in RF engineering, specifically in manufacturing test, system performance, and design validation.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on RF Comms and Design.
• Experience with electronics for critical systems in aerospace, automotive, transportation, or medical devices.
• Hands-on experience with wireless protocols such as Wi-Fi, Cell, GNSS, ADS-B, UWB, or Radar.
• Proficiency in Python, Linux environments, and scripting (Bash/Shell).
• Must be eligible to work in the US and work onsite in South San Francisco.
