What you will do

• Provide high-quality individualized and small-group instruction to students based on their Individualized Education Service Programs (IESP).
• Manage weekly IESP mandates and coordinate intervention schedules with school timetables.
• Develop quarterly progress reports and maintain regular communication with families regarding student updates.
• Document service delivery and student performance accurately within the internal system.
• Create and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to unique academic, social, and emotional needs.
• Collaborate with parents, teachers, and school staff to foster an inclusive learning environment.

Requirements

• Valid NYS Students with Disabilities certification (B-2, 1-6, 7-12, or All Grades) or NYS Literacy Specialist.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• Must not have been employed by NYC DOE in the past 12 months.
• NYC DOE fingerprinting clearance required, or willingness to obtain prior to start.
• Dependable transportation for traveling to school sites or student homes.
