Salary: $225,000 – $240,000 + Equity

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, and Ruby on Rails
• Architect and evolve APIs for web and mobile clients
• Design and optimize relational data models in Postgres to improve system performance and observability
• Own features end-to-end, from initial technical design through deployment and iteration
• Develop frontend experiences using React in collaboration with frontend engineers
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and participate in system design and code reviews to maintain high engineering standards

Requirements

• BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field
• 6+ years of experience building production software with significant backend depth
• Strong experience building and consuming RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs
• Production proficiency with TypeScript, Java/Kotlin, and/or Ruby on Rails
• Expertise in designing relational schemas and query optimization in Postgres
• Working proficiency in React and JavaScript/TypeScript
