What you will do

• Drive supplier performance improvement programs focusing on on-time delivery, cost, quality, and risk reduction.
• Lead local sourcing activities for the Mexicali plant to improve lead times, cost, and agility.
• Expand and execute cost reduction pipelines and lead moderately complex sourcing events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Operations, Engineering, and Quality teams.
• Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) data analysis to support negotiation strategies.
• Manage supplier business reviews and ensure compliance with improvement actions.

Requirements

• BS/BA in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Sourcing or Procurement.
• Must possess appropriate documentation for travel in the United States.
• Strong English speaking and comprehension skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a matrix management environment.

Nice to have

• ISM or APICS certification.
• Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence certification (Green Belt, Black Belt, etc.).
