What you will do

• Design and own end-to-end systems, spanning backend services, APIs, data storage, and frontend integration.
• Build and evolve GenAI-powered services that support design generation, validation, and automation workflows.
• Contribute to the long-term technical vision and high-level architecture decisions for the Design System.
• Balance short-term delivery with scalable, maintainable system design.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to translate complex needs into robust technical solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to hiring to raise the overall engineering bar.

Requirements

• Professional experience in software development (non-internship).
• Experience designing or architecting systems with a focus on reliability, design patterns, and scaling.
• Proficiency in at least one professional software programming language.
• Location: Must be based in Berlin, Germany.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an equivalent qualification.
