What you will do

• Conduct comprehensive client site assessment surveys and inventory on-site technology to prepare for cutovers.
• Perform LiDAR and Ekahau assessments to generate wireless heatmapping proposals.
• Install and configure network equipment racks, workstation deployments, and other technology infrastructure.
• Act as the primary on-site liaison for remote engineers during critical site cutovers.
• Perform basic troubleshooting for hardware, software, and VLAN identification issues.
• Document and photograph completed work while maintaining professional client interactions.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card holder status is mandatory.
• Practical experience in IT, professional services, or customer support.
• Background or education in Telecom, network/systems administration, or a related technical field.
• Willingness to travel 95-100% within the U.S.
• Availability to work nights and weekends to facilitate site cutovers.
• Ability to independently manage travel arrangements (flights, hotels, rental cars).

Nice to have

• Familiarity with routers, switches, and access points.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools such as console cables, cable toners, and multimeters.
• Experience with racking and stacking network hardware.
