What you will do

• Lead and grow a distributed team of engineers, fostering a culture of high trust and psychological safety.
• Drive strategic investments in the software engineering lifecycle to create a world-class developer experience.
• Coach engineering teams on testing strategies and level up their thinking regarding software quality.
• Set architectural guardrails for test automation and delivery pipelines across the organization.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders to prioritize roadmaps for product health and reliability.
• Develop engineering talent through mentorship, coaching, and performance management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience as an Engineering Manager or in a formal people management role.
• Deep expertise in software quality, QA, or SDET practices with a background in leveling up testing standards.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines at a mid-sized SaaS company using GitHub Actions.
• Proficiency in Typescript, React, Python, and Django.
• Experience with modern test automation frameworks such as Vitest, Pytest, and Playwright.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to have

• Background in Product Management for improved problem-solving and feature definition.
• Experience scaling engineering organizations with monolithic codebases.
• Expertise in Performance Testing.
• Experience developing methodologies for agentic development and AI-supported software engineering.
• Understanding of Single Page Applications (SPAs), micro front-end architectures (MFAs), and CDNs.
