What you will do

• Lead accounting and external reporting projects, researching technical guidance for revenue and complex transactions.
• Provide technical leadership on U.S. GAAP treatment for SaaS environments and implementation of new accounting standards.
• Prepare technical accounting memoranda for ASC 606 revenue arrangements, multi-element contracts, and impairment analyses.
• Review customer contracts and partner with Sales, Legal, and FP&A on technical accounting implications of new offerings.
• Manage the revenue accounting close process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal controls.
• Assist with the oversight of consolidated quarterly and annual external financial statements and MD&A preparation.

Requirements

• Canadian or United States CPA designation is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related major.
• 5+ years of experience, preferably including public accounting.
• Strong background in U.S. GAAP or IFRS accounting standards and ability to interpret evolving guidance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex revenue topics.
