What you will do

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process, ensuring accuracy and strong financial controls.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Corporate Accountants through performance reviews and career planning.
• Coordinate consolidated and subsidiary financial statement audits and ensure SOX compliance.
• Drive the implementation of new accounting processes (e.g., IFRS 18) and system enhancements.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Financial Reporting teams on budgets, forecasts, and consolidation.
• Identify and implement efficiency gains through automation, AI, and process redesign.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role or public accounting (audit).
• CPA designation and a B.Comm in Accounting or Finance.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong knowledge of IFRS.
• Experience with complex technical accounting areas like leases and commission capitalization.
• Fluency in English is required as the working language for a global team.
• Must be able to work from the Montreal office 3 days a week.

• Experience with NetSuite.
