TL;DR
Organic Growth Manager (SEO/AEO): Developing and executing a "Search Everywhere Optimization" strategy to increase patient discovery across traditional search engines and AI answer engines with an accent on AEO and LLM visibility. Focus on operationalizing AI-backed content workflows and running experiments to optimize brand representation in tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and Perplexity.
Location: Remote (Must be authorized to work in the U.S.)
Salary: $120,000 – $140,000

What you will do
- Implement hands-on on-page and technical SEO optimizations, including metadata, internal linking, and schema markup.
- Own content production workflows for traditional SERP rankings and AI answer engine visibility (featured snippets, LLM citations).
- Design and run AEO experiments to influence brand representation in ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity.
- Monitor organic performance using dashboards (impressions, rankings, conversions) to surface actionable insights.
- Conduct keyword and competitive research to prioritize opportunities based on patient acquisition potential.
- Systematize and automate repeatable SEO/AEO tasks using AI tools and scripting to increase throughput.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in SEO, growth, or a related role.
- Experience with LLM visibility measurement tools such as Profound or Scrunch.
- Demonstrated ability to optimize LLM-generated responses using prompt engineering.
- Strong working knowledge of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO fundamentals.
- Proficiency with analytics tools including Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and GA4.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Nice to have
- Familiarity with LLM APIs and prompting models for SEO/AEO workflows.
- Basic web development skills (HTML/CSS).
- Experience in healthcare or other regulated industries.
