TL;DR

Aircraft Technical Records and Library Administrator (Aviation): Managing airworthiness technical data and aircraft records within the Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) with an accent on publications administration and baseline management. Focus on ensuring accuracy of aircraft configuration changes, auditing maintenance plan compliance, and supporting technical investigations.

Location: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week in Moose Jaw, Canada)

What you will do

  • Administer the Electronic Record Keeping System (ERKS) and resolve program issues via ticketing systems.
  • Manage technical publications, control amendments, and maintain the master technical library.
  • Implement and revise ERKS baseline tasks for engineering and maintenance scheduling.
  • Audit maintenance plan task definitions and monitor task history (ROCL, TRI, MSI, CLR) to ensure compliance.
  • Coordinate aircraft impound procedures and manage serialized component data and inventory.
  • Provide historical data and reports to support technical investigations and parts usage analysis.

Requirements

  • 2 to 5 years of experience managing aircraft records and/or technical documentation.
  • Proven experience working with electronic record keeping systems.
  • Working knowledge of regulations governing aircraft technical records.
  • Eligibility to meet Controlled Goods Program requirements, ITAR compliance, and pass security evaluations.
  • Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Nice to have

  • AME license, or a degree/college diploma in an aviation-related field.
  • Experience working within the DND Airworthiness Program.
  • Familiarity with Maintenix or similar electronic maintenance record systems.
  • Experience acting as a system super-user or providing advanced user support and training.
