What you will do

• Manage enterprise-scale MongoDB and PostgreSQL implementations with a focus on security and high availability.
• Implement and support MongoDB Ops Manager environments, including cluster migrations and shards.
• Configure OIDC and LDAP authorization and authentication for database security.
• Define and execute PostgreSQL disaster recovery plans and replication strategies.
• Tune MongoDB and PostgreSQL system parameters to optimize performance.
• Lead complex data management initiatives and projects using Agile methodologies.

Requirements

• Must be eligible to work on W2 only; C2C is not accepted.
• Must be based in or able to work in Phoenix, AZ.
• 5+ years of Database Engineering and Logical/Physical Data Modeling experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL or YugabyteDB.
• Proven experience supporting distributed databases within the regulated banking or financial industry.
• Proficiency in Python programming or scripting for database automation.

Nice to have

• Experience with YugabyteDB and Neo4j.
• MongoDB or PostgreSQL/Cloud certifications.
• Expertise with specialized database automation tools.
