Salary: $100,000 – $113,000 USD

What you will do

• Develop and enhance middle-office processes through data automation efforts.
• Manage and analyze large data volumes from ETRM and external sources like S&P and Moody’s.
• Create intuitive dashboards and reports using Power BI, PowerPoint, and HEX.
• Report credit exposures, VaR, and scenario analysis to senior management and the Energy Risk Committee.
• Collaborate with Front and Back Office staff to optimize enterprise outcomes.
• Utilize AI to improve workflows and provide scenario-based evaluations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in IT, economics, finance, business, or a related discipline.
• 2-4 years of middle-office operational experience with credit and/or market risk in energy trading.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex issues to executives.
• Valid US work authorization is required; the company will not sponsor non-immigrant visas (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.).

Nice to have

• Direct experience in renewable energy.
• Knowledge of power markets such as ERCOT, CAISO, or PJM.
• CPA or CFA designation (or progress towards).
• Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, Python programming, and SQL automation.
