What you will do

• Perform database monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization of Oracle databases.
• Execute version upgrades, patching, and schema changes.
• Manage data migrations across environments for terabyte-scale datasets.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are reliable.
• Automate routine database administration tasks.
• Collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to support business requirements.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Oracle Database administration (installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting).
• Solid knowledge of backup and recovery, replication, and disaster recovery planning.
• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience with AWS database services (RDS, Aurora).
• Scripting experience in Python or Bash for automation.

Nice to have

• Exposure to database monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Datadog.
• Strong understanding of database performance optimization and query tuning.
• Experience managing large-scale databases with high transaction volumes.
