What you will do

• Manage kdb+ platforms supporting real-time and intraday analytics for trading, risk, and surveillance.
• Develop and optimize q code, queries, and time-series data models to improve scalability.
• Ensure data quality, consistency, and availability while resolving performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with Front Office and Risk users to translate analytical needs into technical solutions.
• Support platform upgrades, releases, and the creation of new metrics and analytical views.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with kdb+ / q.
• Proven track record working with large volumes of time-series data.
• Strong mindset for performance and optimization.
• Ability to work closely with business users and production awareness.
• Must have the legal right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided).
