What you will do

• Lead design projects from a strategic perspective, gathering and clarifying requirements from various stakeholders.
• Create high-fidelity prototypes and mockups, ensuring all design choices are compatible with the WordPress site editor.
• Collaborate closely with engineering team leads to ensure the final technical outcome aligns with the original design vision.
• Oversee content creation efforts to maintain consistency and usability across the project.
• Deliver comprehensive project documentation, including detailed style guides and design systems.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in designing websites, preferably for large enterprise clients.
• Proficiency with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and modern design tools.
• Strong foundation in typography, minimalism, and overall design aesthetics.
• Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS to understand the technical constraints of web development.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Live production samples of previous web design work.
• Familiarity with WordPress theme systems, the Gutenberg editor, and Full Site Editing (FSE).
• A personal website or blog showcasing your professional portfolio and writing.
