What you will do

• Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and DevOps teams to build features using Agile/Kanban.
• Conduct peer code reviews and contribute to retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
• Define technical requirements and determine the best solutions to achieve team goals.
• Participate in engineering retrospectives focusing on architecture, automation, and coding standards.
• Focus on delivering end-user value and improving the overall customer experience.

Requirements

• Must be based in or able to relocate to Barcelona, Spain.
• 5+ years of backend development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with TypeScript or a strongly typed language.
• Strong experience with RDBMS (raw queries or ORM).
• Solid background in unit and integration testing.
• Experience with message brokers (e.g., SNS, RabbitMQ, Kafka, Google Pub/Sub).

Nice to have

• Experience with Node.js, GraphQL, GCP, or AWS.
• Knowledge of gRPC and protobufs.
• Strong grasp of SOLID principles.
