Salary: $160,000 - $200,000

What you will do

• Lead the development of RF communications including Zip to Zip, Zip to Dock, and Zip to GA Aircraft systems.
• Manage system-level design spanning RF link budgets, interference analysis, and RF MAC layers.
• Design and optimize radios, amplifiers, filters, and antennas to meet vehicle RF architecture requirements.
• Develop functional and system-level confirmation tests to ensure hardware meets all specifications.
• Coordinate regulatory and industry certifications for domestic and international markets.
• Collaborate with GNC, Aero, and Perception teams to determine RF performance requirements.

Requirements

• 3-10 years of experience in RF engineering roles.
• Proven success developing electronics for critical systems in aerospace, automotive, transportation, or medical devices.
• Deep expertise in RF system design, analysis, or antenna design.
• Strong foundation in communication theory, linear systems, and signal processing.
• Proficiency with RF design tools such as ADS, CST, Microwave Office, MATLAB, or Simulink.
• Must be eligible to work in the US and work in person in South San Francisco.
