What you will do

• Build AI tooling across the full spectrum, from short-term productivity wins to long-term autonomous agent capabilities.
• Design and build sandboxed, containerized environments where AI agents can operate autonomously and iterate on solutions.
• Create multi-agent orchestration systems and workflows, including CI-fixing and SRE context agents.
• Enable non-engineers to leverage AI tools effectively through purpose-built workflows and low-code/no-code interfaces.
• Optimize AI-aware developer infrastructure, including MCP servers and prompt engineering frameworks.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain the infrastructure supporting AI tools to ensure high availability and performance.

Requirements

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong track record of shipping production systems.
• Experience building and owning internal tools or platform infrastructure in production.
• Deep familiarity with modern AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Strong product thinking with the ability to translate ambiguous problems into concrete technical designs.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with both staff engineers and executive leadership.
• Must be based in the US and reside within commuting distance of the Los Angeles or San Francisco hubs.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent sandboxing and containerized execution environments.
• Knowledge of multi-agent orchestration and LLM observability.
• Experience with prompt engineering at scale.
